My main research interests include social perception, the social psychology of language use, impression management, aggression, relationships and cross-cultural interaction. I am especially intrigued by how culture affects these processes. To focus this cultural interest, i have edited a series of texts on the psychology of the Chinese people, most recently the Oxford handbook of Chinese psychology.
